Description
Presents approach to kinematics of particles in linear and curvilinear motion. Includes kinematics of rigid bodies in plane motion. Teaches Newton's second law, work-energy and power, impulse and momentum, and problem solving using computers. Lecture 3 hours per week.

Advanced Engineering Pre-req: EGR 140 is a pre-req for EGR 245, 246, and 248.

Prerequisite: EGR 140 (Statics). Access to a personal computer and internet are required for this online course. Please note that access to on-campus computers and internet may be limited for the Fall 2020 semester. Students should plan to have access to a computer and internet outside of campus. This course may require proctored testing as described in the course syllabus. A student may request an alternative proctoring method, but the student will be responsible for any additional fees associated with the alternative method.
